Introduction

Utah FAST is your One-Stop Shop
We take pride in the fact that our company provides many different highly rated services and training.

 Utah FAST is not affiliated with local, county, state, or federal law enforcement agencies.

We require registration and prepayment for all training to guarantee all students’ seats. Before you register for any training, please ensure you meet all requirements, that the training works for your schedule, and that you’ll be there. You must also have all the required equipment (when applicable) before you arrive at the training. Our training policies are fair to you, other students, our company, and instructors.

To maximize our training and respect our students, all training starts precisely on time, and participants must not miss any part of the training or disturb students’ ability to learn. Any individual who arrives late (late arrival) will not be allowed to join training that is already in progress. Your inability to plan properly disrespects the instructor and students regardless of the excuses. “I’m only 5 minutes late. Traffic was busy.” is not a valid excuse, nor are any other excuses.

Please carefully read and familiarize yourself with the preceding Training Policies before registering for or paying for any training. Using this site, registering for, and paying for any training implies that you have read, fully understand, and accept this Training Policy, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to make any changes and/or exceptions to this policy at our discretion at any time, so we highly recommend staying up to date and checking this page for any changes before you attend any future training. Utah FAST reserves the right to make special accommodations under specific circumstances on a case-by-case basis.

Participant Requirements

By registering for any Utah FAST training course, you are affirming that you:

  • Are legally able to own, possess, and operate a firearm safely and not a prohibited person under state or federal law as described below.
  • Are of sound mind and free from mental illness or physical conditions that would prevent the safe operation of a firearm.
  • Recognize and accept the inherent risks of firearm training, which include serious bodily injury and death.
  • Intend to use the skills taught by Utah FAST in a legal, ethical, and honorable manner at all times.

Utah FAST will not provide training to any individual who is defined as a restricted person under Utah law 76-10-503 or federal laws 18 U.S.C. 922, and 27 CFR 478.32, who;

  • Is a convicted felon that has not been annulled or pardoned
  • Is currently under indictment or information in any court for a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year
  • Is a fugitive from justice
  • Is an illegal alien
  • Is under a court order restraining them from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of the intimate partner
  • Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution
  • Has been discharged from the military under dishonorable conditions
  • Has renounced their United States citizenship
  • Has been convicted of domestic violence
  • Uses or is addicted to any unlawful controlled substances
  • Are under the influence of any substances that may hinder or impede their actions in handling a firearm safely

Utah FAST Will not assist in training foreign persons due to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Contract Of Services

Utah FAST agrees to provide the training, but Utah FAST does not guarantee the training on the scheduled dates and times.

If there is evidence that an individual provided false information to register for any training or committed fraud, the instructor will immediately cancel the individual’s registration. All cases of fraud will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Costs | Deposits | Balances

Registration Costs Are Non Refundable!

Costs are based on the instructor’s costs and other factors that may change depending on the venue, location, materials, etc. Each training course has unique requirements and fees. You may see the same training listed at different prices.

  • “Cost” refers to the total fee required to attend a certain training. Payment is required in full at registration; we do not allow walk-ins. The instructor only accepts payments at the training if Utah FAST has given prior written authorization.
  • “Deposit” refers to the fee to secure a seat in a certain course. We may require students to register and pay a deposit for specific training to commit resources; course outlines, classroom locations, range reservations, and other costs incurred with each scheduled training. Unless specifically stated, a Deposit is nonrefundable.
  • “Balance” refers to the amount of money still owed after the deposit and must be paid to complete the total cost of training. If an individual arrives at the scheduled course and has not paid the balance, the individual will not be allowed to attend the training.

Additional Processing Fees & Background Check Fees

Training costs DO NOT include the cost of eye and ear protection, ammunition, cleaning supplies, food, drinks, or other items. Individuals who do not have all the items stated in the course requirements will be unable to attend the training. Utah FAST does not provide or rent firearms, duty gear, ammunition, etc. Please see our online store or contact us to purchase items.

Training costs DO NOT include application, processing, or background check fees that government agencies may require before receiving certain licenses, permits, or certifications. The applicant must pay any additional fee directly to the appropriate Agency, Bureau, Division, etc. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that any such costs are paid in the appropriate time frame not to delay or cause a denial of their application.

Gift Certificates

  • They are valid only for the individual and training listed on the certificate and expire one (1) year from the date issued.
  • Cannot be transferred to another person, are not redeemable for cash, are not eligible for refunds, have no exchanges if lost or stolen, and are void if altered from the original condition in any way.
  • Individuals must contact us to register for any training. We do not allow walk-ins.
  • Individuals must present the gift certificate to the instructor upon arrival. If they do not, they will not be allowed to attend.

Gift Cards

  • Can be used to register and pay online to attend training.
  • Are not redeemable for cash, are not eligible for refunds, have no exchanges if lost or stolen, and are void if altered from the original condition in any way.

Training Sizes

Instructors work diligently to provide and maintain high-value services so that each student receives personal attention and support. We may adjust staffing levels through training registration to maintain an unparalleled, individualized experience and safety.
A course may require a minimum number of registrations to meet certain requirements. These requirements will not be accomplished if the minimum number has not been registered before the registration ends. Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or transfer any registration to a future training date. In such cases, all affected individuals will receive e-mail and phone notifications.
A training course may also have maximum registrations for safety reasons. This means we do not have space for everyone who wants to attend the scheduled training.

Cancellations

Utah FAST may, at its discretion, cancel any scheduled training at any time for any reason due to, including but not limited to any unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances. In the event of a cancellation due to an insufficient minimum number of registrations, inclement weather, illness, rapidly spreading virus, pandemic, natural disaster, etc., or any other reason we feel the situation may be unsafe for our instructors or students.

Customers directly impacted by a cancelation will be contacted as soon as possible based on information provided during the registration process by phone, text, and/or email. We will reschedule individuals for other future training based on availability. These students will be given priority in scheduling and access to future training when possible, and we will make every effort possible to accommodate those affected.

Utah FAST is not responsible if an individual does not provide accurate information during the registration process, including name, phone number, or email address, or the individual claims they did not receive a call, text, voicemail, or email due to not answering their phone, low/no volume, checking text messages, voicemails, or emails, any type of spam filter, or any other phone, computer problem, or other electronic device malfunction.

If Utah FAST or the instructor has not formally canceled the training, individuals who do not attend the scheduled training will be considered” no-shows.”

Host Cancellation Of Private Training:

  • If a Host cancels a scheduled training and does not want to reschedule for a future available date and a student pays online, they can attend any future training dates ONLY if the student contacts us before the course to ensure an available open seat. Students will have this option for six (6) months.
  • If the Host collects course fees from students, the Host is responsible for refunding each student.

Unless other arrangements have been made between the Host and the instructor, the course will be canceled if all students have not paid and the instructor has not received all payments at least four days before the scheduled course.

Rescheduling | Transfers

If an unforeseen situation arises and a customer cannot attend the scheduled training for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, child care, personal emergency, etc., two options are available.

  1. Reschedule the training for a future date.
  2. Transfer the registration to another individual if the customer cannot attend the scheduled training date and cannot reschedule to a future training date.

To reschedule or transfer registration for training, the customer must submit a written request at least four days before the scheduled training date by email to support@utahfast.com. The email must include the customer’s full name, order number, phone number, and email address, which may differ if another individual purchases the registration, and the date of an identical training course the customer wants to reschedule the registration.

  • The request must be for the same training within six (6) months from the original training date.
  • A transfer request must also include the full name, e-mail address, and phone number of the individual to whom the registration is being transferred. The other individual must meet all prerequisites and requirements and is otherwise qualified to attend the training.
  • Training cannot be rescheduled or transferred more than one time. A second attempt to reschedule or transfer will be denied, and the customer must re-register and pay the total training costs.
  • A $25.00 fee will be required if a request is made less than four days before the scheduled training date.
  • Rescheduling and transfers are subject to the availability of the requested training date, and Utah FAST may grant or deny your request based on availability.

Refunds

Registration Costs Are Non Refundable!

If Utah FAST or the instructor cancels a training course and cannot reschedule it for a future date, the customer will receive a 100% refund, including the deposit, if applicable.

All other circumstances are reviewed case by case. Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse or authorize a full or partial refund. If a refund is approved, it will be issued as the original payment was received. It may take up to 5 business days to process a refund through our payment processing company. Depending on the purchaser’s bank’s processing speeds, it may take additional time to be posted to the purchaser’s account.

Utah FAST does NOT provide a refund for:

  1. Purchases made on any other website such as Groupon or Sezzle. You must contact the provider, subject to their policies.
  2. Change of mind, purchase of the wrong training, or inability to attend.
  3. A “late arrival” or “no-show.”
  4. Failure to pay the balance when required before the scheduled training.
  5. Fail to ensure you meet all prerequisites and requirements or do not have all the equipment before arriving at a training course.
  6. You fail to attend all required training dates or fail any examination to complete the training.
  7. A student is removed or not allowed to continue any training due to safety concerns.
  8. Training or services have already been provided.

Tests And Passing Grades

Students must possess the correct attitude, knowledge, and skills necessary for the training they are attending. Some training may have prerequisites that the student must meet or have completed to attend that specific training.

All training is performance-based. A student does not pay to complete our training automatically. A student pays to have the opportunity to complete the training. A student is not guaranteed a certificate, instructor signature, etc., due to having paid for or attended training.

Specific training requires students to pass a written test, live-fire test, and/or performance evaluation. If a student fails to pass any test, as required, they will not be permitted to receive any document showing completion of the training. At the instructor’s discretion, if time is available, the student may have the opportunity to retake a test, but only if the training allows a test retake.
Depending on the training, an instructor-determined processing fee may be required before an additional attempt to take a retest.

Application / Document Holding

From time to time, upon a student’s request, Utah FAST may hold an incomplete application and its associated documents while waiting for the student to email or otherwise provide the required information or documents to complete the application. Utah FAST will hold these applications and their associated documents for no more than 30 days from the training date.

  • If the required information is received within 30 days of the training, Utah FAST will promptly submit the complete application and associated documents to the appropriate government agency or processing authority.
  • If the needed information is not received within the 30 days following the training, the application and its associated documents will be shredded.
  • Utah FAST is not responsible for applications after they are submitted.

Rejected Applications

Utah FAST is not responsible for rejected applications, including, but not limited to, concealed firearm permit applications, unarmed and armed private security officer license applications, or any other applications, regardless of the reason for the rejection.

Safety

Safety is our top priority, especially while handling firearms and even more so during live fire sessions. Compliance is mandatory and non-negotiable. Students are prohibited from being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, etc., which may affect, hinder, or impede an individual’s judgment, coordination, or ability to effectively and safely handle a firearm, defensive weapon, or item, etc. while attending any of our training.

Liability Waiver
Before any training when live-fire will be conducted, all students must complete and sign a liability waiver and media waiver (if applicable), which will be provided at the start of the training. Individuals who refuse to sign the liability waiver will not be allowed to continue with the training.

Age Restrictions
Due to liability concerns and legal requirements, individuals must meet certain age requirements to attend our training. If a specific training has an age restriction, it will be provided in the course description. Any individual attending training under 18 is considered a minor and must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or a responsible adult. Utah FAST is not responsible for minors while in any training, and should it become necessary for the instructor to remove a minor from the training, a parent, legal guardian, or a responsible adult must be available. Minors cannot legally sign our liability waiver, so a parent or legal guardian must sign it.

Disabilities And Special Considerations
Please advise us of any and all disabilities or special considerations so we can provide you with the best service possible!

Firearms And Ammunition In The Classroom

  • Students are not permitted to have any type of firearm or other weapon in the classroom unless required and specified in the course description. If firearms are authorized, all students must bring the firearm unloaded, with no magazine inserted, and in a case, holster, or other secured manner.
  • We use dummy (fake) ammunition training and demonstrations in loading and unloading, malfunctions and clearing techniques, etc. For the safety of all students and instructors, live ammunition is strictly prohibited in the classroom. Live ammunition is only allowed on a live fire range. All ammunition must be left in its box or container until the instructor or range safety officer instructs the students to remove it.

An instructor will check and clear ALL firearms of ammunition before the training begins. Students found violating this policy will be immediately dismissed from the training. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Student Participation

During participation, students may be exposed to outside vendors or bystanders at classroom locations, shooting ranges, training facilities, retail stores, etc. While we continually monitor the environment for compliance, we cannot control or be held accountable for the actions, opinions, statements, etc., of outside vendors, bystanders, or other organizations.

All students must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability before live-fire training.

Removal From Training

Students are expected to maintain appropriate behavior that allows instructors and staff to perform their professional duties effectively and without disruption.
Utah FAST reserves the right at any time to remove a student who;

  • Is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, etc., which may affect, hinder, or impede an individual’s judgment, coordination, or ability to effectively and safely handle a firearm, defensive weapon, or item, etc.
  • Fails to follow all firearm safety rules or commits an unsafe act with a firearm, defensive device, item, etc.
  • Fails to comply with any instructor’s instructions or otherwise presents a threat to the health and safety of our instructors, other students, employees, visitors, and/or any other person
  • Refuses to sign a liability waiver
  • Is behaving in a belligerent manner
  • Causes material or substantial disruption or damage
  • Interferes with the rights of others
  • Violates any of our policies
  • Exhibits behavior that negatively reflects the positive image of our company, instructors, gun owners, or any other person or business

Risk Of Injury

Handling and being near firearms and ammunition have significant risks and exposure to health risks known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm, such as but not limited to Saltpeter (Potassium nitrate), Sulfur, Lead, and other hazardous chemicals and metals.

  • All students must understand that attending our training carries a significant risk of injury. Training involving firearms, impact devices, and defensive tools all have an enhanced risk of injury, which could include substantial bodily injury, serious bodily injury, or death.
  • All students must sign a “Liability Waiver” before any training in which students handle a firearm, ammunition, baton, handcuffs, taser, or OC spray.
  • Students attending our training who are under 18 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian or designated responsible adult in charge of the youth group. We are not responsible for minors while in the training, and should it become necessary for an instructor to remove a minor from the training, a parent, guardian, or designated adult must be available. Minors cannot legally sign our “Liability Waiver,” so a parent or guardian must have signed the document before the beginning of the training.
  • Students who believe they may be allergic or acutely at risk of physical harm due to any known or suspected medical condition should consult their doctor before attending our training.
  • Due to the inherent risk of injury, women who are pregnant should consult medical advice from their doctor before attending any of our training.
  • Utah FAST will not be held liable for an illness or injury to a student due to their failure to properly notify Utah FAST or the instructor of a current or past medical condition.

LIVE FIRE TRAINING

Firearm training ALWAYS poses a substantial risk of injury, including substantial bodily injury, serious bodily injury, or death. Instructors are very strict about following all safety rules at all times.

ASP/BATON & HANDCUFF TRAINING

Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to dynamic defensive activities that may bend, twist, or pin the body in ways that may result in bruising, temporary pain, and severe discomfort.

OC (PEPPER) SPRAY TRAINING

Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to defensive chemical spray devices containing oleoresin capsicum (OC), a natural substance derived from the resin of chili peppers. Eye exposures can cause irritation, inflammation, burning sensations, acute pain, and temporary blindness. Skin exposures can cause pain, redness, swelling, and itching. Inhalation exposures can cause coughing, difficulty breathing, nasal and throat irritation, and runny nose. This can cause intense fear, panic, and cognitive disorientation. These effects are usually mild and temporary, lasting minutes to hours, and can be reactivated after the training when the student sweats or the eyes or skin comes into contact with water. Allergic reactions are rare but may occur.

TASER® TRAINING

Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to defensive devices that fire probes (barbed needles), which impact the skin, causing temporary pain and severe discomfort.

REALITY-BASED TRAINING

Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to situations in which firearms shoot plastic bb’s or Simmunition® that may result in bruising, welts, lacerations, temporary pain, and severe discomfort.

We have created the following policies to provide the best business practices we have to offer. It isn’t easy to have perfect information for every situation. So, in any situation, Utah FAST reserves the right to determine anything not provided below.

For purchases made to attend any of our training please see our Training Policies. This includes cancellations, rescheduling/transfers, refunds, etc.

State and local laws continue to change. Some items, such as firearms, firearm parts, kits, ammunition, magazines, accessories, pepper spray, batons, tasers, body armor, ballistic plates, etc., may be restricted or prohibited in your State. Local retailers are best positioned to know what products can and cannot be sold in your area. These laws and regulations can change anytime without Utah FAST’s notice. For this and other reasons, Utah FAST makes no representation concerning the legality of the purchase or ownership of any product in any state or municipality or the required circumstances.

By making a purchase on this website or any website we control or advertise with, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Utah FAST harmless for damages or claims arising out of or relating to failure to strictly comply with all applicable local, city, state, county, and federal laws and regulations. General Product Sales, Prices, Description, And Photos

All product prices and specifications listed for sale on this website are subject to change at any time. Online inventory changes continuously. Products may be in stock at our location and available for pickup or shipped from us directly to the customer. All other products are not physically at our location and must be shipped from a wholesaler or distributor to us for pickup, shipped directly to the customer, or, if the product is a firearm, to a local dealer. Occasionally, a product may appear on the site by mistake or contain errors. Many of our products contain photos provided by their respective manufacturers, distributors, or wholesalers. We can not guarantee that they will match the physical product exactly. For specific features, information, and included accessories, please read the product descriptions and do not rely solely upon the product photos.
We do not guarantee that our site’s titles, pictures, descriptions, or prices are error-free. When placing an order, the customer agrees that Utah FAST will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog. Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel any order due to these errors. If an error is discovered, we will correct it and work with the customer to resolve it. Order Placements And Fulfillment

Purchasing

  • Utah FAST accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also offer customers the option to purchase items using Sezzle by splitting their payments into four installments over six weeks. All payments are processed immediately upon placing the order.
  • If an order includes a firearm or other serialized item, it will be sent to the dealer the customer chose during checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to know and comply with all applicable laws for the state they live in related to selling, transferring, possessing, transporting, or using a firearm, magazine, ammunition or other item in the locality in which the customer resides.
  • Orders are processed as soon as possible after they are received, either from our in-stock inventory or through a manufacturer, wholesaler, or distributor within 5 business days.
  • In addition to our processing times, orders that are shipped from a wholesaler or distributor to us, drop-shipped directly to a firearm dealer, or shipped directly to the customer are subject to their current processing, fulfillment, and shipping times, which could be an additional 10 to 14 business days.
  • Manufacturers of some items do not allow drop-shipping, and the item must be shipped to us before it can be shipped to your firearm dealer or the customer. This can cause additional delays in receiving the order.

Coupon Codes & Discounts

  • From time to time, Utah FAST provides special offers and discount codes to be used in conjunction with this website. These offers are frequently disseminated via this website, through email or text messages to those who have registered to receive them. They are sometimes posted on our website or announced via other means of communication to promote the Utah FAST product collection, including radio and TV broadcasts, internet forums, social media, and various online websites. We encourage our customers to redeem these special offers, but we respectfully ask that you not exploit them. At our sole discretion, Utah FAST will determine if all purchasing criteria have been met to qualify for the stated discount or free product. If you successfully circumvent the software safeguards of this website to receive several free products with your order, we will remove any extraneous free product from your order or cancel the order in its entirety. You will be informed of any order changes via the phone number or email address listed with your order.
  • Codes are not valid on select products and brands. Sig Sauer products are not eligible for discounting via a coupon code. Gift Cards are not eligible for discounts. Utah FAST will only honor valid and active coupons created by Utah FAST. Random codes found on 3rd party websites are not always valid and may not always be accepted.

Changing, Modifying, or Substituting

  • We strive to serve our customers as best as possible and understand that mistakes can happen. However, most products listed on our website are automatically fulfilled by the distributor or wholesaler, and the order cannot be modified or canceled.
  • Utah FAST will NOT provide an exchange, substitute, replace, or change orders to meet the legal requirements of your local, city, county, or state. Firearms, magazines, ammunition, firearm parts, accessories, etc., violating local or state laws will not have the restricted item shipped with the order and will not be elligible for a return, exchange or refund.

Firearm Purchases

  • Customers must be at least 18 to purchase rifles and shotguns. These firearms may be transferred to a non-resident subject to the laws of the individual’s state of residence. If you are uncertain, consult the state’s laws where the receiving dealer is located.
  • Customers must be at least 21 to purchase handguns, receivers, frames, pistol-grip-only firearms, NFA firearms (Silencer, Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR), Short-Barreled Shotgun (SBS), Any Other Weapon (AOW), and Machine Gun). They will only be transferred to a resident where the transfer occurs.
  • Exceptions: Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local dealer receiving the transfer, as you must provide proof of deployment, residence, etc.
  • Customers who live in California, Maryland, and Massachusetts must comply with firearms on the approved handgun roster. See the State Restrictions tab above for additional information.
  • The transferee/buyer must be the individual who purchased the firearm as shown on the order. If someone other than the individual named on the order attempts to transfer the firearm, the dealer will not complete the transfer.
  • Firearms cannot be shipped directly to a customer. All firearms must be shipped to a dealer to complete the transfer. The dealer you selected during checkout must provide a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) before the firearm can be shipped. The order may be canceled if the receiving dealer’s FFL has not been received within 14 days.
  • After the order containing a firearm has been processed the dealer selected during checkout cannot be changed. It is the customer’s responsibility to validate that the dealer is still in business, accepting firearm transfers, and will legally transfer the firearm to them. In addition, if the firearm is an NFA firearm, the dealer must also have a valid Special Occupational Tax (SOT). Please contact the receiving dealer before making a purchase.
  • A 15% plus $50 restocking fee per order will be charged for all orders that are 1) refused by the transferring dealer, and returned back to Utah FAST or the wholesaler or distributor, 2) returned to Utah FAST or to the wholesaler or distributor by the transferring dealer if the dealer refuses to transfer the firearm for any reason, and 3) returned to Utah FAST or to the wholesaler or distributor if the transferring dealer does not accept the shipment.

NOTE: The transfer process of an NFA firearm requires additional time, documentation, and forms to be completed. This includes completing and submitting an ATF Form 3 (dealer to dealer) to the ATF, which can take approximately 3 to 10 days to approve. The NFA firearm can then be shipped to the FFL/SOT you have selected. You and your dealer must complete the ATF Form 4 (Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Firearm Registration) which requires the attachment of fingerprints and passport pictures for all Responsible Persons, a notarized Trust document (if applicable), pay a $200 Stamp Tax ($5 for AOWs), and be submitted to the ATF for approval. Ammunition Purchases

  • Per federal law, customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase ammunition for rifles or shotguns or at least 21 years old to purchase ammunition used in a handgun.
  • The customer must know and follow all federal, state, and local guidelines when purchasing and reloading ammunition. By purchasing ammunition on our website, you agree to not violate local, state, or federal laws.
  • All ammunition will be shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground; an adult signature is required. Expedited shipping on ammunition is not available.
  • Additional restrictions may apply in your state of residence, such as obtaining a permit/license before being able to purchase ammunition, requiring a background check to be completed, only shipping to an FFL dealer, etc.
  • Residents of Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey must email a copy of their Permit/FOID/FID and the order number to support@utahfast.com.
  • Residents of Rhode Island, when ordering ammunition, you must be; 1) at least 21 years of age, 2) have a Pistol/Revolver Safety Certificate from the Department of Environmental Management, 3) email a copy of their certificate along with their driver’s license or state ID and order number to support@utahfast.com.

Magazine Restrictions

  • Laws regarding the sales, possession, and other restrictions on magazine capacity are constantly changing.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to understand state laws regarding magazine capacities. Customers ordering magazines that are illegal to own in their state will have their orders canceled and will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
  • Utah FAST abides by all state regulations regarding the sale of high-capacity magazines. We DO NOT ship high-capacity magazines with firearms to states with active magazine restrictions. Orders WILL NOT have high-capacity magazines replaced with state-compliant magazines. We DO NOT allow returns, exchanges or refunds in place of the restricted magazine(s).

Exceptions

  • Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a letterhead signed by their department’s superior officer stating that the magazine will only be used in the execution of their duties. Utah FAST only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, and State Police (including the Highway Patrol) as law enforcement. This exemption does not apply to security officers or law enforcement working in an off-duty security officer capacity, and some states may not have law enforcement exemptions.

Transfer Fees

Utah FAST has no control over, nor do we know how much other dealers may charge for transfer fees. Dealers charge a transfer fee between $10 and $100. Our website does not collect this fee. The customer is responsible for paying any additional costs, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Please reach out to your local dealer to ask about any applicable fees before placing your order.

When we receive a firearm from another dealer or individual or if we ship a firearm for a customer to another dealer, we charge a reasonable fee to complete the transfer.

  1. All fees are required to be paid before completing the transfer.
  2. Our transfer fees do not include the background check fee.
  3. All firearms, including NFA purchased from us or through this website or another website we control or advertise with, and the transfer is completed at our location, are exempt from paying our transfer fee.
  4. Law enforcement, military, veterans, and EMS receive a $5.00 discount on all transfer fees.

Background Checks

  • A background check must be completed before a firearm transfer. This is generally conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or a state agency if the customer lives in a Point-of-Contact (POC) state.
  • Utah FAST has no control over, nor do we know how much other dealers may charge for background checks. Our website does NOT collect this fee. The customer is responsible for paying any additional background check fees, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Contact your local dealer to inquire about applicable background check fees before placing your order.
  • If a customer has had issues related to mistaken identity or identity theft, the background check may be delayed indefinitely or denied. Anyone can apply for a Voluntary Appeal File (VAF). Still, it is designed for firearm purchasers who believe they are legally allowed to buy firearms but have been denied more than once or frequently experience delays in their transactions. Purchasers sometimes find themselves experiencing delays or denials in firearms purchases because of a past misdemeanor charge or because an ineligible person has a similar name. When you apply for the VAF, FBI personnel will research your case and assign you a Unique Personal Identification Number (UPIN). For more information, see the FBI website for the Firearm-Related Challenge (Appeal) and Voluntary Appeal File (VAF).
  • For all firearms sold or transferred in Utah, a background check is conducted through the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI). If it is an NFA firearm, although the ATF completed a background check during the Form 4 approval process, Utah law requires another background check to complete the NFA transfer. For additional information on the Utah background check fee, see our Firearm Transfers.
  • If the background check is returned with a “Proceed” or “Approved” response, the firearm transfer will be completed.
  • If the background check is returned with a “Delayed,” “Pending,” or “Research” response, BCI must investigate additional information, and the firearm will not be transferred until a “Proceed” or “Approved” response is received.
  • If the background check is returned with a “Denied” response we will NOT complete the firearm transfer. The purchaser is responsible for contacting the place of purchase, paying our transfer fee (if applicable), and any return shipping costs (if applicable). See Causes for Denial of a Purchase on the BCI website.
  • If the Utah concealed firearm permit check is returned with an “Invalid” response, we will NOT complete the firearm transfer.

Shipping And Delays

  • Due to the influx of demand in the firearm industry, an order may be delayed in processing because the item was in stock when it was purchased but then becomes out of stock by a manufacturer, wholesaler, or distributor before the order was fulfilled or processed through their purchasing system. If this occurs, Utah FAST will contact the customer.
  • All orders that include a firearm will only be shipped to the dealer the customer selected during checkout. That dealer must provide their FFL before the firearm can be shipped. There will be a delay if the FFL is not currently on file. Please contact the receiving dealer before making a purchase. The order will be canceled if the dealer’s FFL (and SOT, if applicable) has not been received within 14 days.
  • Orders are shipped using a combination of shipping carriers, such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Shipping costs vary depending on the item(s) being purchased, such as size, weight, and hazardous materials (batteries, etc.), and each distributor and wholesaler has different shipping costs.
  • Firearms, ammunition, powder, and primers cannot be shipped together. If these items are included in the same order, they will be shipped separately, which will require additional shipping costs and be billed separately from the initial order.
  • Utah FAST will contact the customer to obtain payment for any additional shipping charges before the order is shipped.
  • Shipping addresses cannot be changed after an order has been shipped.

Order Tracking

  • Tracking numbers may be provided for your convenience, if possible.
  • For orders that contain a firearm, the tracking number, if available, only indicates when the package is scheduled to be delivered to the receiving dealer. It does not indicate whether the firearm is ready to complete the transfer. To avoid unnecessary waiting, you must allow the receiving dealer a minimum of 24 to 48 hours after receiving the firearm to complete the legally required acquisition process.
  • Please contact us if you have any questions, but understand we cannot always provide estimations on order fulfillment or shipment.

In-Store Pickup

  • In-store pickups require an appointment. We do not allow walk-ins.
  • Utah FAST will contact customers once the in-store pickup is available and provide further instructions on scheduling an appointment.
  • For orders containing a firearm, Utah FAST will contact customers once the firearm has been entered into our acquisition records and provide further instructions to schedule an appointment.

Order And Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently do not offer shipping to Hawaii or Alaska. Orders placed from these locations will be canceled.
  • Please follow all directions prompted to you at checkout. The FFL selection on our website is for customer convenience only. It does not necessarily mean that Utah FAST or our wholesalers or distributors have the dealer’s Federal Firearms License (FFL) on file. The customer must provide the FFL information that they wish to use. The package will not be held at the carrier hub if a dealer is unavailable at delivery. It will be returned to Utah FAST, the wholesaler, or the distributor who shipped the firearm. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders that need to be re-shipped.
  • The customer is responsible for knowing his/her state laws regarding firearm transfers. Contact your local dealer with any questions regarding the sale or transfer of firearms before ordering a firearm to verify their transfer fee and to ensure they will receive your transfer. The customer assumes all responsibility and costs for returned firearms due to dealer refusal or failure to receive them.
  • All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the dealer’s license. We may contact you to verify the FFL before the firearm is shipped. All FFL numbers will be validated through FFL EZ Check and must match exactly to avoid delays and/or cancellations. The customer’s responsible for ensuring that Utah FAST has a current copy of the dealer’s FFL.
  • Firearms, ammunition, and third-party items (drop-shipped) will NOT be shipped to a Post Office Box.
  • Utah FAST abides by all Federal Regulations regarding hazardous material shipped through the United States Postal Service. A hazardous material is any article or substance designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. This includes but is not limited to, minor blast/minor projection hazard (ammunition), oxidizing substances (batteries), flammable solids (black powder), and flammable and combustible liquid (cleaners, oil, and aerosol cans). If you wish to order any hazardous material, you must provide a physical address for shipment through UPS.
  • We will NOT ship any item outside the United States in compliance with federal laws and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR).
  • We have compiled some information to assist you if a product is restricted in your area. See the State Restrictions tab for additional information.
  • Utah FAST adheres to all manufacturer dropshipping rules. The following manufacturers do not allow accessories to be sold through a dropshipping program: AAC (Advanced Armament), Browning, FN, Franklin Armory is restricted in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, and Washington DC., Gemtech, GLOCK, Heckler and Koch (HK USA), IWI – Israel Weapon Industries, Kimber, Marlin, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Springfield Armory, Trijicon, Walther Arms, and Winchester.

Cancellations

  • A customer may cancel an order placed with Utah FAST before the order’s fulfillment is submitted to a wholesaler or distributor, and the cancellation fee will be 15%, provided, however, that an order financed through Sezzle is not eligible for cancellation for any reason.
  • Orders cannot be canceled if a fulfillment has been submitted to a wholesaler or distributor.
  • If the product has shipped, the order may not be canceled, and the customer must follow all rules applicable to returns. Please note that the item/package will be returned at the customer’s expense.
  • All orders that include a firearm (or NFA firearm) and the receiving dealer’s FFL (and SOT, if applicable) are not on file. They must email it to support@utahfast.com. If we have not received the dealer’s FFL (and SOT, if applicable) within 14 days, the order will be canceled and incur a 15% cancellation fee.
  • Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.

Utah FAST Cancellations

  • Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing or inventory errors. We do not offer a price guarantee and will not provide a partial refund if the price of a product is lowered after you make your purchase.
  • There are rising fraud cases in the firearm industry especially for parts, accessories, and optics. We closely monitor all orders for potential fraud and reserve the right to cancel any order in which we suspect fraud has occurred.
  • To protect our company and individuals who may be directly affected by fraud, if the billing and shipping addresses do not match or if the customer cannot be reached using the phone number and email address provided during checkout the order WILL BE CANCELED.

Returns, Exchanges, And Refunds

RETURNS

  • If the purchased item(s) is defective or damaged upon receipt, or if the customer is not satisfied with a purchased item(s) and wishes to return it for an exchange or refund, the customer must contact us to request a Return Authorization. Depending on the item, a return may not be allowed.
  • All non-defective returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • If the customer fails to include a Return Authorization with the returned item(s), or if the Return Authorization is incomplete, Utah FAST will NOT process an exchange or refund for the item(s).
  • There are no returns with respect to items in an order financed through Sezzle.
  • Utah FAST must receive all returns WITHIN 30 DAYS of the date of receipt of delivery of the purchased item.
  • All returned items must be in the same condition as when they were shipped and must be returned in original condition, unused, unworn, and undamaged, with all product tags, wrapping, and packaging. They must also include all accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that shipped with the product in a condition that allows resale to another customer. If the item is not returned in resalable condition, Utah FAST will not provide a refund.
  • The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Utah FAST does not provide return labels. We recommend using a shipping carrier that offers tracking for all returns to ensure your package is safe to return or declare the total value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to use a carrier that offers to track and insure or declare the total value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

EXCHANGES

  • Utah FAST will provide an exchange on an item found to be defective after delivery if the distributor or wholesaler accepts returns and is not listed under our NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS section below.
  • Utah FAST does not provide exchanges unless we have the same or similar product in stock at our location.
  • All exchanges must be returned and received by Utah FAST before a replacement being shipped out.

REFUNDS

  • All payments are processed immediately upon order placement. The customer is responsible for knowing and complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to selling, transferring, possessing, transporting, or using a firearm, magazine, ammunition, or other item in the locality where the customer resides.
  • The customer who placed the order must request a refund, and proof of the original purchase must be provided, including a receipt or order number, date of purchase, and purchaser’s name. If proof is not provided, Utah FAST is not obligated to provide a refund.
  • After Utah FAST has received the returned item(s) and it is determined to be resellable, Utah Fast will process the refund within 7 to 10 business days and credit in the same manner as we received the payment at the time of the order.
  • Refunds will only include the purchase price indicated on the order. Original shipping charges are NOT refunded unless the item is found to be defective.
  • Customers who use Sezzle to pay for an order are not eligible for a refund.
  • Utah FAST reserves the right to dispute any bank or credit card chargebacks. Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse all future orders placed by any customer that cancels an order via debit or credit card chargeback following shipment.

Non-Returnable Items

Our return, exchange, and refund policies do not apply to the following products for safety, legal, and regulatory reasons.

Sales on the following products are final:

  • Any firearm after a transfer has been completed. The customer’s responsible for fully inspecting the firearm at their dealer before completing the Firearm Transaction Record (ATF Form 4473) and accepting it into their possession. We do understand that some defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. Upon discovering a defect in a firearm after it has been transferred, the customer must contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement following their respective warranty policy.
  • Any NFA firearm, once a Form 3 or Form 4 has been submitted to the ATF.
  • Black-Powder Firearms
  • Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics, and night vision equipment
  • Ammunition and ammunition components (bullets, casings, powders and primers), blank cartridges
  • Special orders and items that are custom configured to the customer’s specifications, unless there is a defect or error on our part
  • Items sold as “Used“ and “As Is”
  • Items that have been opened from the manufacturer’s packaging
  • Items that have been modified, installed, or used (these items may be subject to manufacturer warranty)
  • Clothing and Apparel
  • Consumables
  • Downloadable Software/Products
  • Gift Cards

Storage Fees

We are not a storage facility. We do not have the space available to store purchased but uncollected items. However, we understand that some situations and circumstances may not allow a customer to pick up an item purchased from us or shipped to us until a later date. Therefore, we must charge a storage fee.

  • There Are No Storage Fees For The First 14 Days (2 Weeks)
  • Storage fees begin on the 15th day after the date the customer has been notified.*
  • Storage fees are the same amount regardless of the original purchase cost.
  • Storage fees for NFA firearms are only calculated while waiting for the customer to schedule an appointment to complete the ATF Form 4 and after the ATF has returned the approved Form 4 with stamp tax. Storage fees for NFA firearms do NOT apply during the ATF approval waiting period, regardless of the time.
  • Scheduling an appointment does not stop storage fees from being assessed.*
  • All fees must be paid before taking possession of the item(s) or firearm(s).
  • A customer who refuses to pay the required storage fees will result in forfeiture.

Storage Fees

  • Items that have not been picked up within the 14 days will be subject to a storage fee of $1.00 per day from day 15 to day 30 and $5.00 from day 31 to day 60. Products not picked up within 60 days will be considered abandoned, resulting in forfeiture regardless of whether the item was purchased from Utah FAST or shipped to Utah FAST.
  • Firearms that have not been transferred within the 14 days will be subject to a storage fee of $20 per serialized item (firearm, receiver, etc.) per month or any part of a month after that. Any serialized item not picked up within 60 days will be considered abandoned and will result in forfeiture regardless of whether the firearm or NFA firearm was purchased from Utah FAST or transferred to Utah FAST from another FFL dealer or individual.
  • Items and firearms considered abandoned are subject to being sold to cover storage costs and other expenses without compensation to the customer.

Day 0: Customer notified the item is ready for pickup
Day 1: Customer schedules an appointment for pick up on day 17
Day 17: Customer picks up the item.
Fees Assessed: $3.00 (day 15, day 16, day 17)

* Example 2:
Day 0: Customer notified the firearm is ready to complete the transfer
Day 1: Customer schedules an appointment for pick up on day 17
Day 17: Customer completes the firearm transfer.
Fees Assessed: $20.00

Warranty

  • Utah FAST does not offer any warranty, express or implied, for any item. For warranty information, please contact the product manufacturer.
  • All used firearms are identified as “Used“ and sold as “As Is”. Some manufacturers will honor warranties even if you are not the original owner. Contact the original manufacturer for all warranty information requests on used firearms.
  • The manufacturer must address all ammunition functionality issues.
  • Under no circumstances shall Utah FAST be responsible for;
  1. Incidental or consequential damages concerning economic loss, property damage, injury, or death.
  2. The careless handling, unauthorized adjustments, defective, low-quality, reloaded, or improper ammunition, corrosion, neglect, ordinary wear and tear, or unreasonable use.
  3. The failure to properly secure any firearm or ammunition or the failure to ensure that any firearm or ammunition is not accessable to a prohibited person as defined by state or federal laws, unauthorized persons or children.
  4. Any other reason not described herein.

We have developed the following Biometric Information Privacy Policy. This policy defines the policies and procedures for the collection, use, safeguarding, storage, retention, protection, and destruction of biometric data in accordance with applicable standards and Utah and Federal laws.

BIOMETRIC DATA DEFINED

As used in this Policy, “Biometric Data” means fingerprints, and “Biometric Information” means any demographic information also known as Personal Identifiable Information (PII), regardless of how it is captured, converted, stored, or shared, based on an individual’s biometric identifier used to identify an individual.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Personally Identifiable Information or PII means all information that identifies or can be used to identify, locate, contact, or impersonate a particular individual. PII is contained in public and non-public records. Examples may include but are not limited to a specific individual’s: first name (or initial), middle name (or initial), and last name (current or former); geographical address; electronic address (including an e-mail address); personal cell phone number; telephone number or fax number dedicated to contacting the individual at his or her physical place of residence; social security number; biometric identifiers, including but not limited to, fingerprints, palm prints, facial recognition, full face image, and iris scans; driver identification number; birth date; and physical description. When connected with one or more of the items of information specified above, PII includes any other information concerning an individual that, if disclosed, identifies or can be used to identify a specific individual physically or electronically.

DISCLOSURE AND AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES

Utah FAST will not disclose, redisclose, or disseminate any Biometric Data or PII to anyone other than the individual who provided the Biometric Data or PII, and to State or Federal agencies for the purpose of conducting a background check. PII may be released if;

  • We have obtained verbal or written consent from the individual to disclosure, redisclosure, or disseminate, and only after positive identification is made from the individual;
  • Disclosure is required by state or federal law or municipal ordinance;
  • Disclosure is required by a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) audit; or
  • Disclosure is required pursuant to a valid warrant or subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.

RETENTION

Utah FAST securely retains Biometric Data and PII for the individual’s personal future use, also known as “Archiving,” except as required by an order from a court of competent jurisdiction. Utah FAST shall retain the Biometric Data and PII unless the individual who provided the Data requests the information be deleted, in which case Utah FAST shall permanently destroy such data.

  • All Biometric Data and PII collected for Direct Submission to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) to conduct a Utah Background Check shall be deleted 30 days after such submission unless Archived.
  • As required by Federal law all Biometric Data and PII collected for Direct Submission to the FBI to conduct a Background Check (Identity History Summary) shall be deleted 30 days after such submission unless Archived.

DATA STORAGE

We have very strict policies for storing, transmitting, and protecting from disclosure any paper or electric Biometric Data and PII collected. Such storage, transmission, and protection from disclosure shall be performed in a manner that is the same as or more protective than the manner in which the company stores, transmits, and protects from disclosure of other confidential and sensitive information.
Any forms used to collect Biometric Data or PII are kept secure until it is destroyed within a reasonable amount of time or as required under Utah or federal law.

In case of system or electronic device failure, we maintain a backup of all system files on an Apricorn Aegis Fortress L3 256-bit AES XTS encrypted external drive, Apricorn Aegis Fortress L3 256-bit AES XTS encrypted external drive, which is not vulnerable to software or hardware-based key-loggers or software-based brute force attacks. Your data is protected with a programmable “Brute Force Hack Defense Mechanism,” which, if four consecutive incorrect password entries have been attempted, the device will delete its own encryption key and destroy the ability to decrypt its stored data.
