Can’t make it to one of our scheduled concealed carry classes?
Are you having a get-together, barbecue, birthday party, work party, reunion, or other group function?
We can travel to you and give you Utah’s BEST concealed carry class in your home, business, or other location and have all of your family, friends, and/or co-workers take the class at the same time.

Private Concealed Carry Classes

All private concealed carry classes must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance to ensure all appropriate fees are paid, and any common issues are resolved prior to the class.

Class Includes

  • Utah Concealed Firearm Permit application
  • FREE access to all information taught in the class
  • Fingerprints (if space is available)
  • Passport Picture (if space is available)
  • Copy of Drivers License/ID (if space is available)
    Students born outside the United States, must bring proof of United States legal residency such as; Naturalization Number (Green Card), Born Abroad Birth Certificate (ex. born on a U.S. military base), valid U.S. Passport or INS/Alien Registration Number
  • FREE hand delivery of your application to BCI

Arizona Non-Resident Concealed Weapon Permit Application

The Arizona permit allows an individual, at least 21 years old, to carry a concealed handgun in New Mexico. We offer this application for no additional cost if requested. The application does require two (2) fingerprint cards. If we provide the fingerprints it will require an additional $10.00 for the two cards.

Minimum Number Of Students

We require a minimum of 10 students for all private classes in Salt Lake County & Utah County. If you do not have the minimum number of students the class cost described below will increase for each student to meet the minimum required fee.

  • Student costs shown above include the passport picture, fingerprint card, and copy of driver’s license / ID required to submit with the concealed firearm permit application ONLY if adequate space is available at the selected location.
  • All host and student costs are non-refundable except as described below under cancellations.

NOTE: As explained under “Minimum Number Of Students” above, if you do not have the minimum number of students the class cost described above will increase for each student to meet the minimum required fee.

Host Responsibilities

  • Obtaining a location where the class will be held. See the Location information below.
  • Ensuring that ALL students know and understand the class requirements:
  1. Be at least 17 years old
  2. Must meet the minimum requirements to obtain a Utah concealed firearm permit
  3. Have proper identification as described above under “Additional Options”
  4. Must arrive at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start time of the class
  5. The class WILL last between 4 to 5 hours
  6. The class cost DOES NOT include the Utah or Arizona permit application fee(s)

  7. All students must complete our secure and encrypted Live Scan Fingerprint Form AT LEAST 48 hours (2 days) prior to the class to make the fingerprinting process easier and faster.

Students Do Not Need To Bring Or Have A Firearm For This Class

Location

Location Requirements:

The Host is responsible for paying all costs associated with the location, if applicable, and the instructor may contact the location to ensure all requirements can be met without any issues.

  • Enough space and seating for all students
  • Proper lighting
  • 1. Access to a 46-inch (or larger) TV with HDMI input, space to put a laptop, and access to one electrical outlet
    or
    2. Space to set up a table, projector, projector screen, and access to one electrical outlet
  • SAFETY SPACE – There must be enough space [a minimum of eight (8) feet] in front of the class between the students and instructor to safely demonstrate the handling of firearms
  • Fingerprints, Passport Picture & Copy Of Documents – Additional space is also required to provide these services at no additional cost.
    1. Passport Pictures – must have good lighting and a white wall or space to set up an 8′ x 4′ backdrop and access to one electrical outlet
    2. Fingerprints/Copy of Documents – must have space to set up a table behind the student’s seating area and access to one electrical outlet. Students must be able to see the instructor while having their fingerprints completed.

If the Host does cannot obtain a location for the class we may be able to find and schedule a location.

  • The Lee Kay Public Shooting Range in Salt Lake City has seating for up to 60 students, depending on availability. The Host will be responsible for paying all costs associated with this or any other location, if applicable.

Important
If, when the Instructor arrives at the Host’s selected location, there is not enough space available or has the proper access to necessary utilities, including the power to provide the fingerprints, passport picture, and/or copy of documents it is not the Instructor’s fault or responsibility to fix. If the Instructor cannot provide certain services, he/she may be able to make them available at another time with no additional cost to the student. It will then be the student’s responsibility to schedule an appointment through our website or obtain the service(s) by other means. If the student chooses to obtain the offered service(s) by other means they will NOT receive any type of refund.

Rescheduling / Cancellation

Host Cancellation:

  • If the Host cancels for any reason, at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled class, it can be rescheduled for a future available date for no additional cost.
  • If the Host cancels for any reason, LESS than 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled class, it can be rescheduled for a future available date but will require another non-refundable deposit.
  • If the Host cancels the class and does not want to reschedule for a future available date there are only two (2) options available;
    1. If students paid online they can attend any of our concealed carry classes ONLY if they contact us prior to the class to ensure there is an open seat available. Students will have this option for six (6) months.
    2. Receive a full refund.
  • If the Host collected the class fees from students, the Host is then responsible for refunding each student.

Instructor Cancellation:

  • If an instructor cancels a private concealed carry class and it cannot be reasonably scheduled for a future available date, the Host and all students will receive a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit.

Automatic Class Cancellation:

  • Unless other arrangements have been made between the Host and the instructor, the class will be canceled if all students have not paid for the class AND the Instructor has not received all payments at least four (4) days prior to the class.
