You must be at least 21 years old to purchase NFA firearms. All NFA firearms must be shipped to an FFL dealer with a valid SOT after approval from the ATF, which can take an additional 3 to 7 days. After your FFL receives the NFA firearm, additional forms must be submitted to the ATF and approved before you can complete the transfer. Some states restrict the possession of all or certain NFA firearms. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in the state where you reside.
