You must be at least 21 years old to purchase NFA firearms. All NFA firearms must be shipped to an FFL dealer with a valid SOT after approval from the ATF, which can take an additional 3 to 7 days. Additional forms must be submitted to the ATF and approved before you can complete the transfer. Some states restrict the possession of all or certain NFA firearms.
