Introduction
We have established the following policies to provide the best information possible.
For purchases made to attend any of our training, please refer to our Training Policies. This includes cancellations, rescheduling, transfers, refunds, and other related matters.
State and local laws are subject to change at any time without notice to Utah FAST or our distributors. Utah FAST makes no legal representation regarding the purchase, possession, or ownership of any product sold on this website. Products, such as firearms, firearm parts, kits, ammunition, magazines, accessories, pepper spray, batons, tasers, body armor, ballistic plates, etc., may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please refer to the State Restrictions tab and contact your local retailers for further details.
Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse the sale of any product, determine the appropriate action for any situation, and cancel any order for any reason.
The customer must thoroughly check all local, city, state, county, and federal laws BEFORE placing an order. This is a crucial step to ensure compliance and avoid any legal issues. By purchasing any product on this website or on any website we control or advertise through, the customer agrees to assume all responsibility and liability for the use of the purchased product. The customer also agrees to use the product solely for its intended purposes and not to use it for any illegal or unethical purposes.
General Product Sales, Prices, Inventory, Images, And Descriptions
All products, including pricing, inventory, images, and descriptions, are automatically imported and updated from our distributors, and they are integrated with this website. This information is subject to change without notice. Occasionally, a product may appear by mistake or contain errors. Products may contain photos provided by their respective manufacturer or distributors. Utah FAST cannot guarantee that it will match the physical product exactly. For specific features, information, and included accessories, please refer to the product descriptions, check the UPC and SKU numbers, and do not rely solely on the product images for accurate details.
Utah FAST does not guarantee that the titles, pictures, descriptions, or prices are error-free. When placing an order, the customer agrees that Utah FAST will be the final arbiter of any discrepancies regarding the product. Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel any order due to these errors. If an error is discovered, Utah FAST will correct it and work with the customer to resolve it. If you have any questions or would like to confirm product information, please contact us before making a purchase.
Order Processing And Fulfillment
- Utah FAST accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. All payments are processed immediately upon placing the order.
- Utah FAST attempts to verify that a purchased product does not violate any local, city, state, county, or federal laws and regulations with available information. This includes firearms, ammunition, magazines, parts, accessories, and other related products. Orders that are found to violate any State Restrictions will be canceled.
- Orders are fulfilled as soon as possible, in the order they are received, but may take up to five business days. After an order is submitted to a distributor, Utah FAST has no control over the length of time the distributor will take to process, fulfill, or ship the order or partial order, which may result in an additional 10-14 business days. Orders that multiple distributors are fulfilling may result in an increased processing time.
- A tracking number will only be provided once the order is processed and shipped from our location.
Drop Shipping
- Some manufacturers do not allow dropshipping for their products, and some distributors do not offer dropshipping directly to a customer or FFL dealer. This means that regardless of how an order was selected to be received, the product must first be shipped to our location, then Utah FAST pays for the product to be shipped again to the customer or FFL dealer. This will result in specific orders incurring longer transit times, as they are being shipped twice to reach their final destination. Utah FAST adheres to the manufacturer’s drop-shipping rules. Manufacturers that currently do not allow drop-shipping include:
Firearms
– Beretta (this includes Benelli, Franchi, SAKO, Stoeger, Tikka, Uberti, and SwissP Defence)
– Browning
– FN (FN Herstal)
– Glock
– HK (Heckler & Koch)
– IWI (Israel Weapon Industries)
– Kimber
– Marlin
– Ruger
– Smith & Wesson
– Springfield Armory
– Walther Arms
– Winchester
NFA Firearms
– AAC (Advanced Armament)
– Gemtech
– Q
Firearm Accessory Brands
– Burris Optics
– Streamlight
– Trijicon
Coupon Codes & Discounts
- From time to time, Utah FAST offers special promotions and discount codes that can be used in conjunction with this website. These offers are frequently disseminated via this website, email, or SMS (text) messages to those who have registered to receive them. They are sometimes posted on our website or announced via other means of communication to promote the Utah FAST product collection, including radio and TV broadcasts, internet forums, social media, and various online websites and media outlets. We encourage our customers to redeem these special offers, but we respectfully ask that you not exploit them. At our sole discretion, Utah FAST will determine if all purchasing criteria have been met to qualify for the stated discount. If an individual circumvents or attempts to circumvent the safeguards of this website to receive several discounts on their order. In that case, we will remove any extraneous product from the order or cancel the order in its entirety. The customer will be informed of any order changes via the email address provided with the order.
- Codes and discounts may be available for certain individuals or those who have received specific authorization. Dissemination of a code or discount, or otherwise obtaining a code or discount, to exploit its use, or if an individual attempts to use a code or discount they are not authorized to use, will result in the order being cancelled.
- Codes and discounts may not be valid or available on select products and brands. Sig Sauer products are not eligible for discounting via a coupon code. Gift Cards do not qualify for discounts. Utah FAST will only honor valid and active coupons or codes created by Utah FAST. Random codes found on third-party websites are not always valid and may not be accepted.
Changing, Modifying, or Substituting
- We strive to serve our customers to the best of our ability and understand that mistakes can occur. However, an order cannot be changed, modified, or substituted after it has been submitted for fulfillment by a distributor.
- Utah FAST will NOT provide an exchange, substitute, replace, or change orders to meet any legal requirements of your local, city, county, state, or federal law or regulation. Firearms, magazines, ammunition, firearm parts, and accessories that violate local or state laws will not be shipped with the order and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
Firearm Purchases
Firearms cannot be shipped directly to a customer. All firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer to complete the transfer. It is the customer’s responsibility to know and comply with all applicable laws in the state where they reside regarding the purchase and possession of a firearm. Orders that contain a firearm that violates any of the State Restrictions will be canceled.
- Customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase rifles and shotguns. These firearms may be transferred to a non-resident subject to the laws of the individual’s state of residence.
- Customers must be at least 21 years old and a resident of the state to purchase handguns, frames, receivers, pistol-grip-only firearms, NFA firearms (Silencer, Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR), Short-Barreled Shotgun (SBS), Any Other Weapon (AOW), and Machine Gun).
- Exceptions: Military personnel stationed in a state other than their legal residence may purchase firearms across state lines. Contact your local dealer to receive the transfer, as you will need to provide proof of deployment, residence, and other relevant information.
- The transferee/buyer must be the individual who purchased the firearm as shown on the order. If someone other than the individual named on the order attempts to transfer the firearm, the dealer will not complete the transfer.
- If you are not a U.S. citizen, you must meet specific requirements. See the FAQ “Can Aliens Legally In The United States Purchase Firearms?“
- Customers residing in California, Maryland, and Massachusetts are required to comply with the approved handgun roster in their respective states. Please see our State Restrictions for more information.
- We provide a generalized list of FFL dealers on the checkout page. This list is curated from an ATF registry. This does not imply that we have a relationship with these dealers or that we, or a distributor, currently have a valid copy of the dealer’s FFL license. Utah FAST does not verify that an FFL location has agreed to receive a firearm from us or a distributor. It is the customer’s responsibility to validate that the dealer is still in business, accepting firearm transfers, and is willing to accept a transfer from Utah FAST or distributors before placing an order. Additionally, if the firearm is a National Firearms Act (NFA) firearm, the dealer must also hold a valid Special Occupational Tax (SOT) license.
- The selected dealer must provide their FFL and SOT, if applicable, before the firearm can be shipped. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact the dealer and have them email their proper licensing documentation to orders@utahfast.com as soon as possible after the order is placed. If we have not received the dealer’s licensing documentation within 14 days, the order will be canceled.
NOTE: The transfer process of an NFA firearm requires additional time, documentation, and forms to be completed. This includes completing and submitting an ATF Form 3 (dealer-to-dealer) to the ATF, which typically takes 3 to 10 business days to be approved. The NFA firearm can then be shipped to the FFL/SOT you have selected. You and your dealer must complete the ATF Form 4 (Application for Tax Paid Transfer and Firearm Registration), which requires the attachment of fingerprints and passport pictures for all Responsible Persons, a notarized trust document (if applicable), pay a $200 Stamp Tax ($5 for AOWs), and submit it to the ATF for approval. Approval times vary. Visit the ATF website to see the NFA Current Processing Times.
Ammunition Purchases
Ammunition product descriptions may include the number of rounds per box and the number of boxes per case. It is the customer’s responsibility to know exactly how many rounds of ammunition are being purchased.
- Customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition.
- Customers must be at least 21 years old to purchase ammunition intended for use in handguns.
- The customer must be aware of and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Additional restrictions may apply in your state of residence, such as obtaining a permit or license before purchasing ammunition, requiring a background check to be completed, or shipping to an FFL dealer.
- Residents of Connecticut, Illinois, and New Jersey can upload a copy of their permit, FOID, or FID during checkout.
- Residents of Rhode Island must be at least 21 years of age, hold a Pistol/Revolver Safety Certificate issued by the Department of Environmental Management, and upload a copy of their certificate, driver’s license, or state ID, during checkout.
- Customer information can also be emailed, including the order number, to orders@utahfast.com.
Magazine Restrictions
- Laws regarding the sales, possession, and other restrictions on magazine capacity are constantly changing.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to know and comply with all local and state laws regarding magazine capacity restrictions.
- Utah FAST abides by all state regulations regarding the sale and possession of high-capacity magazines. Orders placed by a customer in a state with an active magazine restriction will not include high-capacity magazines. Magazines will not be replaced with magazines that are state-compliant. We do not allow returns, exchanges, or refunds for the restricted magazine(s).
Exceptions
- Law enforcement officers must provide both their credentials and a letter from their department’s superior officer, signed on official letterhead, stating that the magazine will be used solely in the execution of their duties. Utah FAST only recognizes City Police Officers, County Sheriff Deputies, State Police (including the Highway Patrol), and federal agents as law enforcement. This exemption does not apply to security officers or law enforcement working in an off-duty security officer capacity, and some states may not have law enforcement exemptions.
Shipping And Delays
- Due to the surge in demand in the firearm industry, orders may be delayed in processing. This is because the product was in stock when the order was placed, but it became out of stock with a distributor before the order could be fulfilled. If this occurs, Utah FAST will contact the customer.
- Orders are shipped using a combination of shipping carriers, including the United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS), and Federal Express (FedEx). Shipping costs vary depending on the product being purchased, taking into account factors such as size, weight, and the presence of hazardous materials (e.g., batteries). Additionally, each distributor has different shipping costs.
- Shipping addresses cannot be changed after an order has been shipped.
- Ammunition will be shipped via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. An adult signature is required. Expedited shipping on ammunition is not available.
- Firearms, ammunition, powder, and primers cannot be shipped together. If these products are included in the same order, they will be shipped separately, which will require additional shipping costs and will be billed separately from the initial order. Utah FAST will contact the customer to obtain payment for any additional shipping charges before the order is shipped.
- If a package is lost during shipping, the customer must notify Utah FAST as soon as possible. We will work with the distributor and carrier to locate the package.
Order Tracking
- Tracking numbers may be provided for your convenience, if possible.
- For orders that contain a firearm, the tracking number, if available, only indicates when the package is scheduled to be delivered to the receiving dealer. It does not indicate whether the firearm is ready to complete the transfer. To avoid unnecessary waiting, you must allow the receiving dealer a minimum of 24 to 48 hours after receiving the firearm to complete the legally required acquisition process.
- Please contact us if you have any questions. However, please note that we cannot always provide time estimates for order fulfillment or shipment.
Order And Shipping Restrictions
- Orders will not be shipped to P.O. boxes. We will only ship to locations in the continental 48 states. Orders with a shipping address in Hawaii (HI), Alaska (AK), Puerto Rico (PR), or any other U.S. territory are currently unavailable. Orders placed from these locations will be canceled.
- If an order cannot be delivered to the shipping address or to an FFL dealer (for firearms), packages are not guaranteed to be held at a carrier hub. It may be returned to Utah FAST or the distributor who shipped the firearm. Additional shipping charges will apply to orders that require reshipping, and additional restocking fees will be applied to orders that are not reshipped.
- All firearms will be shipped to the premise address on the dealer’s license. We may contact you to verify the FFL before shipping the firearm. All FFL numbers will be validated through FFL EZ Check and must match precisely to avoid delays and/or cancellations.
- Utah FAST abides by all Federal Regulations regarding hazardous materials shipped through the United States Postal Service. A hazardous material is any article or substance designated by the U.S. Department of Transportation as capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, or property during transportation. This includes but is not limited to minor blast/minor projection hazard (ammunition), oxidizing substances (batteries), flammable solids (black powder), and flammable and combustible liquids (cleaners, oil, and aerosol cans). If you wish to order any hazardous material, you must provide a physical shipping address.
- In compliance with federal laws and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Utah FAST will not ship any product outside the United States.
- We have compiled some information to assist you if a product is restricted in your area. Refer to the State Restrictions tab for further details.
In-Store Pickup
- In-store pickups at Utah FAST require an appointment. We do not allow walk-ins.
- Utah FAST will contact customers once the in-store pickup is available and provide further instructions on scheduling an appointment.
- For orders containing a firearm, Utah FAST will contact customers once the firearm has been entered into our acquisition records and provide further instructions to schedule an appointment.
- Any appointment scheduled before a customer has been notified will be cancelled.
Transfer Fees
- Utah FAST has no control over the transfer fees charged by other dealers, which range from $10 to $100 or more. Our website does not collect this fee. The customer is responsible for paying any additional costs, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Please get in touch with your local dealer to inquire about any applicable fees before placing your order.
- When we receive a firearm from another dealer or individual, or if we ship a firearm to another dealer on behalf of a customer, we charge a reasonable fee to facilitate the transfer. All payments must be made before the transfer being completed. A transfer fee does not include the background check fee. For our current transfer fees, please refer to our Firearm Transfers.
- If Utah FAST receives a firearm or NFA firearm from another dealer or manufacturer to be transferred to a customer and the customer fails a background check, decides not to complete the transfer or wishes to return the firearm for any reason, the customer is responsible for contacting the FFL from whom they purchased the firearm, requesting a return authorization, obtaining a shipping label, and paying our transfer fee and background check fee, if applicable. If the FFL does not provide a return shipping label, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. All applicable fees must be paid before the firearm will be shipped. In this case, the firearm or NFA firearm is subject to our Storage Fees as outlined below.
Background Checks
- A background check must be completed before a firearm transfer can be processed. This is generally conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or a state agency if the customer lives in a Point-of-Contact (POC) state.
- Utah FAST has no control over the fees that other dealers may charge for background checks. Our website does not collect this fee. The customer is responsible for paying any additional background check fees, as required, at the time of the firearm transfer. Contact your local dealer to inquire about applicable background check fees before placing your order.
- If a customer has had issues related to mistaken identity or identity theft, the background check may be delayed indefinitely or denied. Anyone can apply for a Voluntary Appeal File (VAF). Still, it is designed for firearm purchasers who believe they are legally allowed to buy firearms but have been denied more than once or frequently experience delays in their transactions. Purchasers sometimes find themselves experiencing delays or denials in firearms purchases because of a past misdemeanor charge or because an ineligible person has a similar name. When you apply for the VAF, FBI personnel will research your case and assign you a Unique Personal Identification Number (UPIN). For more information, see the FBI website for the Firearm-Related Challenge (Appeal) and Voluntary Appeal File (VAF).
Utah
- For all firearms sold or transferred in Utah, a background check is conducted through the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI). If it is an NFA firearm, although the ATF completed a background check during the Form 4 approval process, Utah law requires another background check to complete the NFA transfer. For additional information on the Utah background check fee, please refer to our Firearm Transfers.
- If the background check is returned with a “Proceed” or “Approved” response, the firearm transfer will be completed.
- If the background check is returned with a “Delayed,” “Pending,” or “Research” response. In that case, BCI must investigate additional information, and the firearm will not be transferred until a “Proceed” or “Approved” response is received.
- If the background check is returned with a “Denied” response, a Utah concealed firearm permit check is returned with an “Invalid” response, or the purchaser is identified to be a prohibited person under state or federal law, we will not complete the firearm transfer. The purchaser is responsible for contacting the place of purchase, paying our transfer fee (if applicable), and any return shipping costs (if applicable). See Causes for Denial of a Purchase on the BCI website.
All Other States
- For all firearms sold or transferred in any other state, a background check is conducted through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) or a state agency if the customer lives in a Point-of-Contact (POC) state.
- If the background check is returned with a “Denied” response or the purchaser is identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law, the dealer will not complete the firearm transfer. The purchaser is responsible for paying any applicable fees, such as the transfer fee and background check fee, to the dealer. The customer or dealer must then contact Utah FAST and follow all return policies outlined below.
Cancellations
- Orders can only be cancelled if the product was in stock at our location and has not been shipped, or it has not been submitted to a distributor for fulfillment.
- All cancelled orders are subject to a 30% cancellation and restocking fee.
- If an order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled. The customer must follow all applicable return policies outlined below.
- Cancelled orders may not be reversed. All cancellations are final.
Utah FAST Cancellations
- Orders that violate any of the State Restrictions will be canceled.
- Orders containing a firearm and processed through Utah FAST, but not receiving the dealer’s FFL and SOT for an NFA firearm (if applicable) within 14 days of the order placement, will be canceled.
- Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel orders due to pricing or inventory errors. We do not offer a price guarantee and will not provide a partial refund if the price of a product changes after an order is placed.
- There are increasing cases of fraud in the firearm industry, particularly involving parts, accessories, and optics. We closely monitor all orders for potential fraud and reserve the right to cancel any order we suspect has been involved in fraudulent activity.
- To protect our company and individuals who may be directly affected by fraud, orders cannot be placed if the billing and shipping addresses do not match. This does not apply to orders containing a firearm, as they must be shipped to an FFL dealer.
Returns, Exchanges, Restocking Fees, And Refunds
RETURNS
- All returns are subject to the individual product, distributor return restrictions, and non-returnable items outlined below; therefore, a return may be refused.
- If a product is defective or damaged upon receipt, or if the customer is not satisfied with a product and wishes to return it for an exchange or refund, the customer must request a Return Authorization by emailing orders@utahfast.com. If the customer fails to include the Utah FAST Return Authorization with the returned product, or if the Return Authorization is incomplete, Utah FAST will not process the return. All return requests must be submitted within 14 days of the purchase delivery date.
- For all firearm sales, if a background check is returned with a “Denied” response or the purchaser is identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law, the customer or dealer must contact Utah FAST for approval on all returns.
- A returned product or firearm must be in the same condition as when they were shipped and must be returned in its original condition, unused, unworn, and undamaged, with all product tags, wrapping, and packaging intact. They must also include all accessories, manuals, documentation, and registration that were shipped with the product in a condition that allows resale to another customer. If the product is not returned in resalable condition, Utah FAST will not provide an exchange or offer a refund.
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Utah FAST may provide a return shipping label to the customer or dealer. If the customer or dealer chooses to pay for a return shipping label instead, Utah FAST does not reimburse any shipping costs. In this case, we recommend using a shipping carrier that offers tracking for all returns to ensure your package is safe during transit. Additionally, we recommend adding insurance and declaring the total value of the shipment to be protected in case it is lost or damaged during transit. If the customer or dealer chooses not to use a carrier that offers tracking, insurance, or a declaration of the product’s total value, they may not be eligible for compensation in the event of loss. The customer or dealer will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
EXCHANGES
- Utah FAST will provide an exchange for a product found to be defective after delivery if we have the same or a similar product in stock at our location or the distributor accepts returns, provides exchanges, and is not listed under our “Non-Returnable Products” section below.
- All exchanges must be returned and received by Utah FAST or the distributor before a replacement will be shipped.
RESTOCKING FEES
A 35% restocking fee will be deducted from the order for all returns to Utah FAST or a distributor. The remaining amount will be refunded to the customer in the same manner as the order was paid for. This includes;
- All non-defective returns.
- All orders were returned because they were undeliverable to the address on the order.
- Orders containing a firearm, for which we have not received the dealer’s FFL and SOT for an NFA firearm (if applicable), within 14 days of order placement, will be cancelled.
- All orders containing a firearm that cannot be delivered to the FFL address on the order.
- All orders containing a firearm that are refused by the transferring dealer or are not accepted by the receiving dealer for any reason.
- All orders containing a firearm that an FFL dealer returns if the customer/transferee is suspected of committing a straw purchase or denied the transfer due to being identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law, before or after a background check was completed.
REFUNDS
- The customer who placed the order must request a refund, and proof of the original purchase must be provided, including a receipt or order number, date of purchase, and the purchaser’s name. If evidence is not provided, Utah FAST is not obligated to provide a refund.
- If a package is lost during shipment to Utah FAST or to a distributor, no refund will be made until an investigation is conducted and completed by Utah FAST and/or the distributor and the shipping carrier.
- After Utah FAST receives an approved return and determines it to be resellable, Utah Fast will process the refund within 7 to 10 business days.
- Utah FAST reserves the right to dispute any bank or credit card chargebacks and to refuse all future orders placed by a customer after an order has been fulfilled, shipped, or delivered.
Non-Returnable Products
Our return, exchange, and refund policies do not apply to the following products for safety, legal, and regulatory reasons.
Sales on the following products are final:
- Any firearm, after it has been transferred to the purchaser. The customer is responsible for thoroughly inspecting the firearm for damage and proper function at their dealer before completing the Firearm Transaction Record (ATF Form 4473) and accepting it into their possession. We do understand that some defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. Upon discovering a defect in a firearm after it has been transferred, the customer must contact the manufacturer for repair or replacement in accordance with the manufacturer’s respective warranty policy.
- Any NFA firearm, once the ATF has approved the ATF Form 4.
- Black-Powder Firearms.
- Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics, scopes, night vision, and thermal equipment.
- Ammunition, including all ammunition components (bullets, casings, powders, and primers), blank cartridges, and simmunition.
- Special orders and custom-configured products are considered as such, unless a defect or error on our part is present.
- Any product or firearm sold as “Used“ or “As Is”.
- Items that have been opened from the manufacturer’s packaging.
- Any product that has been installed, used, or modified. These items may be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
- Clothing and Apparel, if evidence shows it has been worn or used.
- Consumables.
- Downloadable Software/Products.
- Gift Cards.
How Is A Refund Issued?
- The order is inspected to ensure it meets our Returns policy, and if a product is listed in the “Non-Returnable Products”.
- If a product or order is ineligible for a refund, no refund will be provided.
- If a product or order is eligible for a refund, the restocking fee is deducted from the “Item Total” or, in the case of the entire order, the “Items Subtotal” shown on the order, and is considered a pending refund amount.
- Determined if Utah FAST paid any return shipping fees for a product to be returned to us or a distributor. If this applies, the shipping cost is deducted from the pending refund amount.
- The original shipping cost and taxes are added to the pending refund amount, making it the eligible refund.
- The eligible refund is issued to the customer in the same manner as the payment was received at the time of the order.
Storage Fees
As a home-based business, we do not have the space to hold or store customers’ orders or firearms for extended periods of time. We understand that some situations and circumstances may not allow a customer to pick up an order or firearm that was purchased from us or shipped to us until a later date. To allow sufficient time to pick up an order, storage fees are not calculated for the first 14 days (two weeks) after the customer is notified that the order is ready for pickup. Beginning on the 15th day, we start assessing and charging storage fees.
Pickup notifications are made in multiple ways. Utah FAST is not responsible if a customer fails to provide clear communication of information to Utah FAST or provides inaccurate information, including name, phone number, or email address. It is not acceptable for a customer to claim they did not receive a call, SMS (text) messages, voicemail, or email due to not answering their phone, low/no volume, checking SMS (text) messages, voicemails, or emails, any spam filter, or any other phone, computer problem, other electronic device malfunction, or has opted out from receiving SMS (text) messages or unsubscribed from our emails which may affect the ability to receive important information from Utah FAST.
- All orders that do not contain a firearm will incur a storage fee of $1.00 per day, calculated separately for each product in the order.
- Firearms will be subject to a flat storage fee of $50.00 per serialized item (pistol, rifle, shotgun, NFA firearm, frame, receiver, etc.) per month, and is not prorated.
- Storage fees for NFA firearms are not calculated during the ATF approval waiting period, which begins after the Form 4 is submitted and continues until it has been approved or denied.
- Scheduling an appointment for pickup does not stop storage fees from being assessed.
- Non-Firearm Order Example:
Day 0: Customer is notified that the order is ready for pickup
Day 1: Customer schedules an appointment for pick up on day 17
Day 17: Customer picks up the order
Fees Assessed: $3.00 (day 15, day 16, day 17) - Firearm Example:
Day 0: Customer is notified that the firearm is ready to complete the transfer
Day 1: Customer schedules an appointment for pick up on day 15
Day 15: Customer completes the firearm transfer
Fees Assessed: $50.00 (not including transfer fees and background check fee, if applicable)
ABANDONED PROPERTY
- If a customer fails or refuses to pick up an order within 60 days, Utah FAST will consider the property abandoned.
- If a customer fails or refuses to complete a firearm transfer within 60 days, Utah FAST will consider the property abandoned.
- If a customer is denied the firearm transfer due to a failed background check, or if the purchaser is identified as a prohibited person under state or federal law. In such instances, Utah FAST will consider the firearm abandoned if appropriate arrangements have not been agreed upon in writing and completed within 60 days.
- If a customer fails or refuses to pay the required storage fees and the order is not picked up or the firearm has not been transferred within 60 days, Utah FAST will consider the property abandoned.
- Abandoned property will result in forfeiture, regardless of where the order was placed and subsequently absorbed into the Utah FAST store inventory. Utah FAST has the right to sell, dispose of, or use any product or firearm in any way it chooses to recoup storage fees and any other applicable fees, with no expectation of further compensation to the customer.
Warranty
- Utah FAST does not offer any warranty, express or implied. For warranty information, please get in touch with the manufacturer of the product.
- All used firearms are identified as “Used“ and sold as “As Is”. Some manufacturers will honor warranties even if you are not the original owner. Contact the original manufacturer for all warranty information requests on used firearms.
- The manufacturer must address all issues related to the ammunition’s functionality.
- The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Utah FAST and its owners, employees, partners, affiliates, and agents from all responsibility for incidental or consequential damages or claims concerning economic loss, property damage, injury, or death resulting from the use of any product purchased from Utah FAST, even if a distrubutor fulfilled or shipped the product. This includes any product purchased that the customer fails to properly secure, including but not limited to, a firearm or ammunition, or fails to ensure that any firearm or ammunition is not accessible to a minor or a prohibited person, as defined by state or federal laws, that make it unlawful for specific categories of persons to ship, transport, receive, or possess firearms, ammunition, or other restricted items, even if the product was borrowed, lend to the individual that the customer knows or should have reasonably known should not have access to, possession of, or would use the product unlawfully or in any way other than its manufactured and intended use.
- It is the customer’s responsibility to read and follow all information contained in the product owner’s manual, including, but not limited to, proper usage, warnings, labels, advisories, notices, handling, making any adjustments, alterations, or use of non-OEM parts, use of the correct ammunition or the use of defective, low-quality, or reloaded ammunition, or any other safety information, even if not provided by Utah FAST, the manufacturer, distributor, or not included with the purchased product. If the customer has any questions about the proper use or safety of the product, contact the product manufacturer. An internet search can also provide information about almost anything in the world, but it should not be used or considered as a replacement for information from the manufacturer.
- Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason; and to cancel any order, at any time, for any reason.
- Any disputes arising from this, or any other, policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Utah.

Introduction
Utah FAST is your One-Stop Shop
We take pride in the fact that our company offers a range of highly rated services and training.
Utah FAST is not affiliated with any local, county, state, or federal law enforcement agencies.
We require registration and prepayment for all training to ensure all students have a seat. Before registering for any training, please ensure you meet all the requirements, that the training fits your schedule, and that you’ll be able to attend. You must also have all the required equipment (where applicable) before arriving at the training. Our training policies are fair to you, to other students, to our company, and to the instructors.
To maximize our training, all training starts precisely on time, and participants must not miss any part of the training or disrupt students’ ability to learn. Any individual who arrives late (late arrival) will not be allowed to join the training that is already in progress. Any individual who fails to attend the training for which they are scheduled will be considered a No-Show. Your inability to plan properly disrespects the instructor and students, regardless of the excuse. “I was only 5 minutes late. Traffic was busy.” is not a valid excuse, nor are any other excuses.
Please carefully read and familiarize yourself with the preceding Training Policies before registering for or paying for any training. Using this site, registering for, and paying for any training implies that you have read, fully understand, and accept our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and this Training Policy.
We reserve the right to make changes and/or exceptions to this policy at our discretion at any time. Therefore, we highly recommend staying up to date and checking this page for any updates before attending future training. Utah FAST reserves the right to make special accommodations on a case-by-case basis under specific circumstances.
Participant Requirements
By registering for any Utah FAST training course, you are affirming that you:
- Are legally able to own, possess, and operate a firearm safely and are not a prohibited person under state or federal law as described below.
- Are of sound mind and free from mental illness or physical conditions that would prevent the safe operation of a firearm.
- Recognize and accept the inherent risks of firearm training, which include serious bodily injury and death.
- Intend to use the skills taught by Utah FAST in a legal, ethical, and honorable manner at all times.
Utah FAST will not provide training to any individual who is defined as a restricted person under Utah law 76-11 Part 3 or federal laws 18 U.S.C. 922, and 27 CFR 478.32, who;
- Is a convicted felon that has not been annulled or pardoned
- Is currently under indictment or information in any court for a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year
- Is a fugitive from justice
- Is an illegal alien
- Is under a court order restraining them from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of the intimate partner
- Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to any mental institution
- Has been discharged from the military under dishonorable conditions
- Has renounced their United States citizenship
- Has been convicted of domestic violence
- Uses or is addicted to any unlawful controlled substances
- Are under the influence of any substances that may hinder or impede their actions in handling a firearm safely
Subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Utah FAST will not assist in training foreign persons.
Contract Of Services
Utah FAST agrees to provide the training; however, Utah FAST does not guarantee the training will be held on the scheduled dates and times.
If there is evidence that an individual provided false information to register for any training or committed fraud, the instructor will immediately cancel the individual’s registration. All cases of fraud will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Costs | Deposits | Balances
All training and registration costs are non-refundable.
Costs are based on the instructor’s expenses and other factors that may vary depending on the venue, location, materials, and other considerations. Each training course has unique requirements and fees. You may see the same training listed at different prices.
- “Cost” refers to the total fee required to attend a certain training. Payment is required in full at registration for most training. We do not accept walk-ins to any course unless specifically stated in the course description. The instructor only accepts payments at the training if Utah FAST has given prior written authorization.
- “Deposit” refers to the fee to secure a seat in a certain course. We may require students to register and pay a deposit for specific training to commit resources, including course outlines, classroom locations, range reservations, and other costs incurred with each scheduled training. Unless specifically stated, a Deposit is nonrefundable.
- “Balance” refers to the amount of money still owed after the deposit and must be paid to complete the total cost of training. If an individual arrives at the scheduled course and has not paid the balance, the individual will not be allowed to attend the training.
Additional Processing Fees & Background Check Fees
Training costs do not include:
- Any additional expenses that may be required to attend training, such as eye and ear protection, ammunition, cleaning supplies, food, drinks, or other miscellaneous items. Individuals who do not meet all the course requirements will be unable to attend the training. Utah FAST does not provide or rent firearms, duty gear, ammunition, or other related items. Please visit our online store or contact us to purchase an item you need.
- Application, processing, or background check fees that government agencies may require before receiving certain licenses, permits, or certifications. The applicant must pay any additional fee directly to the appropriate Agency, Bureau, Division, etc. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that any such costs are paid within the applicable timeframe to avoid delaying or causing the denial of their application.
Gift Cards
Gift cards can be purchased on our website and used to pay online for registration and attendance at any training. They are not redeemable for cash, are not eligible for refunds, cannot be exchanged if lost or stolen, and are void if altered from their original condition in any way.
Training Sizes
Instructors work diligently to provide and maintain high-quality services, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and support. We may adjust staffing levels through training registration to maintain an unparalleled, individualized experience and safety.
A course may require a minimum number of registrations to meet certain requirements. These requirements will not be accomplished if the minimum number has not been registered before the registration ends. Utah FAST reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or transfer any registration to a future training date.
A training course may also have a maximum registration for safety reasons. This means we do not have space for everyone who wants to attend the scheduled training.
Cancellations
Utah FAST may, at its discretion, cancel any scheduled training at any time for any reason due to, including but not limited to, any unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances, inclement weather, illness, rapidly spreading virus, pandemic, natural disaster, insufficient minimum number of registrations, an individual’s failure to have all required equipment or items, etc., or any other reason we feel a situation may be unsafe for our instructors and students.
Individuals directly impacted by a cancellation will be contacted as soon as possible, based on the information provided during the registration process, via email and/or SMS (text) notifications. We will reschedule individuals for a future training date based on availability and will give priority to scheduling and access to future training when possible. We will make every effort to accommodate those affected.
Utah FAST is not responsible if an individual fails to communicate information to Utah FAST clearly or does not provide accurate information during the registration process, including name, phone number, or email address, or the individual claims they did not receive a call, text, voicemail, or email due to not answering their phone, low/no volume, checking SMS (text) messages, voicemails, or emails, any spam filter, or any other phone, computer problem, or other electronic device malfunction.
If Utah FAST or the instructor has not canceled the training, an individual who does not attend the scheduled training at the start time will be considered a ”no-show”.
Host Cancellation Of Private Training:
- If a Host cancels a scheduled training and does not wish to reschedule for a future available date, individuals who paid online can attend any future training dates, provided they contact us at least five days before the training date to ensure an available seat is open. This option will only be available for 90 days (three months) from the original scheduled training.
- If the Host collected fees from an individual, the Host is responsible for refunding each student.
Unless other arrangements have been made between the Host and the instructor, the course will be canceled if all individuals have not paid and the instructor has not received all payments at least five days before the scheduled training.
Rescheduling | Transfers
If an individual cannot attend the scheduled training for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, childcare, personal emergency, etc., or in the event of a cancellation as described above, the individual can reschedule the training for a future available date or transfer the registration to another individual if they cannot reschedule for a future available date.
To reschedule or transfer registration for training, the individual must submit a written request via email to support@utahfast.com at least 24 hours before the scheduled training. The email must include the purchaser’s full name, order number, phone number, and email address, which may differ if the registration was purchased by another individual.
- Any attempt to reschedule or transfer training after it has started will result in the individual being considered a No-Show and the request will be denied.
- A reschedule request must be for the same training that was originally purchased, and the new training date must be within 90 days (three months) from the original scheduled training date.
- A transfer request must also include the full name, e-mail address, and phone number of the individual to whom the registration is being transferred. The other individual must meet all prerequisites and requirements to be qualified to attend the training, and the new training date must be within 90 days (three months) from the original scheduled training date.
- Training cannot be rescheduled or transferred more than once. A second attempt to reschedule or transfer will be denied.
- A $25.00 fee will be required if a request is made less than five days before the scheduled training date.
- Rescheduling and transfers are subject to the availability of the requested training date, and Utah FAST may grant or deny a request based on availability.
Refunds
All training and registration costs are non-refundable.
If Utah FAST or an instructor cancels a training and it cannot be rescheduled to a future date, the purchaser will receive a 100% refund, including the deposit, if applicable.
All other circumstances are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Utah FAST reserves the right to refuse or authorize a full or partial refund. If a refund is approved, it will be issued in the same manner as the original payment was received. It may take up to 5 business days for a refund to be processed through our payment processing company. Depending on the purchaser’s bank’s processing speeds, it may take additional time to be posted to the purchaser’s account.
Utah FAST does NOT provide a refund for:
- Purchases made on any other website, such as Groupon. You must contact the provider, subject to their policies.
- Change of mind, purchase of the wrong training, or inability to attend.
- A “late arrival” or “no-show.”
- Failure to pay the balance when required before the scheduled training.
- Failure to ensure all prerequisites and requirements are met to attend the training.
- Failure to have all required equipment before the scheduled training.
- Failure to attend all required training dates.
- Failure to pass any examination that is required to complete the training.
- A student who, at the discretion of the instructor, is removed or not allowed to continue training. See more information below under “Removal From Training”.
- Training or services that have already been provided.
Tests And Passing Grades
Students must possess the correct attitude, knowledge, and skills necessary for the training they are attending. Some training may have prerequisites that a student must meet or have completed to attend that specific training.
All training is performance-based. A student pays to have the opportunity to complete the training. A student is not guaranteed a certificate, instructor signature, etc., simply because they have paid for or attended training.
Specific training requires students to pass a written test, live-fire test, and/or performance evaluation. If a student fails to pass any test, as required, they will not be permitted to receive any document showing completion of the training. At the instructor’s discretion, if time is available, the student may have the opportunity to retake a test, provided the training allows for test retakes.
Depending on the training, an instructor-determined processing fee may be required before an additional attempt to retake a test.
Application / Document Holding
From time to time, upon a student’s request, Utah FAST may hold an incomplete application and its associated documents while waiting for the student to email or otherwise provide the required information or documents to complete the application. Utah FAST will hold these applications and their associated documents for no more than 30 days from the date of the training.
- If the required information is received within 30 days of the training, Utah FAST will promptly submit the complete application and associated documents to the appropriate government agency or processing authority.
- If the needed information is not received within the 30 days following the training, the application and its associated documents will be shredded.
- Utah FAST is not responsible for any application after it has been submitted.
Rejected Applications
Utah FAST is not responsible for a rejected application, including, but not limited to, concealed firearm permit application, unarmed or armed private security officer license application, or any other application, regardless of the reason for the rejection.
Safety
Safety is our top priority, especially while handling firearms and even more so during live fire sessions. Compliance is mandatory and non-negotiable. Students are prohibited from being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, etc., which may affect, hinder, or impede an individual’s judgment, coordination, or ability to effectively and safely handle a firearm, defensive weapon, or other item while attending any of our training.
Liability Waiver
Before any student handles a firearm, defensive weapon, or other item or participates in live-fire training, all students must complete and sign a liability waiver and a media waiver (if applicable), which will be provided at the beginning of the training. Individuals who refuse to sign the liability waiver will not be allowed to continue with the training.
Age Restrictions
Due to liability concerns and legal requirements, individuals must meet certain age requirements to attend our training. If a specific training has an age restriction, it will be provided in the course description. Any individual attending training under 18 is considered a minor and must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or a responsible adult. Utah FAST is not responsible for minors during any training. If it becomes necessary for the instructor to remove a minor from the training, a parent, legal guardian, or a responsible adult must be available. Minors cannot legally sign our liability waiver, so a parent or legal guardian must sign it.
Disabilities And Special Considerations
Please advise us of any disabilities or special considerations so we can provide you with the best service possible.
Firearms And Ammunition In The Classroom
- Students are not permitted to have a firearm or any other weapon in the classroom unless required to complete the training and specified in the course description. If a firearm is authorized, all students must bring it unloaded, with no magazine inserted, and in a case, holster, or other secure manner.
- We use dummy (fake) ammunition for training and demonstrations in loading and unloading, malfunctions, and clearing techniques, among other purposes. For the safety of all students and instructors, live ammunition is strictly prohibited in the classroom. Live ammunition is only allowed on a live fire range. All ammunition must be left in its box or container until instructed by the instructor or range safety officer to remove it.
An instructor will check and clear ALL firearms of ammunition before the training begins. Students found violating this policy will be immediately dismissed from the training. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Student Participation
- Student participation is completely voluntary. Training will include instructions, directions, and commands that students are expected to follow immediately; however, Utah FAST will not force a student to do something they are not comfortable with, but this requires that a student provide immediate, complete, and honest communication to Utah FAST and the instructors.
- During participation, a student may be exposed to outside vendors or bystanders at various locations, including classroom settings, shooting ranges, training facilities, and retail stores. While we continually monitor the environment for compliance, we cannot control or be held accountable for the actions, opinions, statements, or other activities of outside vendors, bystanders, or other organizations.
- All students must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability. This is a legally binding document from our insurance company, which restricts certain student rights as permitted by law. A student may request a copy of the Waiver and Release of Liability to obtain legal advice on their rights that may be affected by signing it. It also requires providing an emergency contact, which Utah FAST will only use if necessary due to injury or death of the student.
Removal From Training
Students are expected to maintain appropriate behavior that allows instructors and staff to perform their professional duties effectively and without disruption.
Utah FAST reserves the right at any time to remove a student who;
- Is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, controlled substances, etc., which may affect, hinder, or impede an individual’s judgment, coordination, or ability to effectively and safely handle a firearm, defensive weapon, or item, etc.
- Fails to follow all firearm safety rules or commits an unsafe act with a firearm, defensive device, item, etc.
- Fails to comply with any instructor’s instructions or otherwise presents a threat to the health and safety of our instructors, other students, employees, visitors, and/or any other person.

Risk Of Injury
Handling and being near firearms and ammunition have significant risks and exposure to health risks known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm, such as but not limited to saltpeter (potassium nitrate), sulfur, lead, and other hazardous chemicals and metals.
- All students must understand that attending our training carries a significant risk of injury. Training involving firearms, impact devices, and defensive tools all have an enhanced risk of injury, which could include substantial bodily injury, serious bodily injury, and death.
- All students must sign a “Liability Waiver” before participating in any training that involves handling a firearm (including a simunition firearm), ammunition, baton, handcuffs, taser, OC spray, or any other defensive weapon.
- A legal guardian or a designated responsible adult must accompany students under 18 years old attending our training. Utah FAST and our instructors are not responsible for minors while in training. Should it become necessary for an instructor to remove a minor from the training, a parent, guardian, or designated adult must be available. Minors cannot legally sign our “Liability Waiver,” so a parent or guardian must have signed the document before the beginning of the training.
- Any student who knows, believes or has reasonable suspision of a medical condition or medical problem, such as heart disease, history of seizure, has a pacemaker, may be allergic or acutely at risk of physical harm which includes, but is not limited to, being elderly, overweight, or very thin, is considered a higher risk individual. If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor before attending our training.

- Utah FAST will not be held liable for any illness or injury to a student resulting from their failure to properly notify Utah FAST or the instructor of a current or past medical condition.
LIVE FIRE TRAINING
Firearm training ALWAYS poses a substantial risk of injury, including substantial bodily injury, serious bodily injury, and death. Instructors are very strict about following all safety rules and commands at all times.
ASP/BATON & HANDCUFF TRAINING
Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to defensive activities that may cause the body to bend, twist, or be pinned in ways that can result in bruising, sprains, temporary pain, and severe discomfort.
OC (PEPPER) SPRAY TRAINING
Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to defensive chemical spray devices containing oleoresin capsicum (OC), a natural substance derived from the resin of peppers or another substance. Eye exposures can cause irritation, inflammation, burning sensations, acute pain, and temporary blindness. Skin exposures can cause pain, redness, swelling, and itching. Inhalation exposures can cause coughing, difficulty breathing, nasal and throat irritation, and a runny nose. This has a high risk of causing intense fear, panic, and cognitive disorientation. These effects are usually mild and temporary, lasting minutes to hours. They can be reactivated after the training when the student sweats, or the eyes or skin come into contact with water. Allergic reactions are rare but may occur.
TASER® TRAINING
Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to less lethal defensive devices. A Taser® is a handheld device that fires two small probes (barbed needles) that impact and are intended to puncture the clothing and skin and remain attached until removed. This will deliver modulated electric current (intense electric shock) that causes “neuromuscular incapacitation” (NMI) with temporary effects ranging from localized pain, severe discomfort, and strong involuntary long muscle contractions which can cause the involuntary (loss of) control of the bladder and bowels based on the mode of use, connectivity of the probes, and location of the probes on the body.
REALITY-BASED TRAINING
Due to the training’s dynamic nature, students will be exposed to situations in which firearms shoot plastic BBs or Simmunition® that may result in bruising, welts, lacerations, temporary pain, and severe discomfort.

[tab title=”Biometric Information Privacy Policy” anchor=”biometric”]
We have developed the following Biometric Information Privacy Policy. This policy defines the policies and procedures for the collection, use, safeguarding, storage, retention, protection, and destruction of biometric data in accordance with applicable standards and Utah and Federal laws.
BIOMETRIC DATA DEFINED
As used in this Policy, “Biometric Data” means fingerprints, and “Biometric Information” means any demographic information also known as Personal Identifiable Information (PII), regardless of how it is captured, converted, stored, or shared, based on an individual’s biometric identifier used to identify an individual.
PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
Personally Identifiable Information or PII means all information that identifies or can be used to identify, locate, contact, or impersonate a particular individual. PII is contained in public and non-public records. Examples may include but are not limited to a specific individual’s: first name (or initial), middle name (or initial), and last name (current or former); geographical address; electronic address (including an e-mail address); personal cell phone number; telephone number or fax number dedicated to contacting the individual at his or her physical place of residence; social security number; biometric identifiers, including but not limited to, fingerprints, palm prints, facial recognition, full face image, and iris scans; driver identification number; birth date; and physical description. When connected with one or more of the items of information specified above, PII includes any other information concerning an individual that, if disclosed, identifies or can be used to identify a specific individual physically or electronically.
DISCLOSURE AND AUTHORIZATION PROCEDURES
Utah FAST will not disclose, redisclose, or disseminate any Biometric Data or PII to anyone other than the individual who provided the Biometric Data or PII, and to State or Federal agencies for the purpose of conducting a background check. PII may be released if;
- We have obtained verbal or written consent from the individual to disclosure, redisclosure, or disseminate, and only after positive identification is made from the individual;
- Disclosure is required by state or federal law or municipal ordinance;
- Disclosure is required by a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) audit; or
- Disclosure is required pursuant to a valid warrant or subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
RETENTION
Utah FAST securely retains Biometric Data and PII for the individual’s personal future use, also known as “Archiving,” except as required by an order from a court of competent jurisdiction. Utah FAST shall retain the Biometric Data and PII unless the individual who provided the Data requests the information be deleted, in which case Utah FAST shall permanently destroy such data.
- All Biometric Data and PII collected for Direct Submission to the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI) to conduct a Utah Background Check shall be deleted 30 days after such submission unless Archived.
- As required by Federal law all Biometric Data and PII collected for Direct Submission to the FBI to conduct a Background Check (Identity History Summary) shall be deleted 30 days after such submission unless Archived.
DATA STORAGE
We have very strict policies for storing, transmitting, and protecting from disclosure any paper or electric Biometric Data and PII collected. Such storage, transmission, and protection from disclosure shall be performed in a manner that is the same as or more protective than the manner in which the company stores, transmits, and protects from disclosure of other confidential and sensitive information.
Any forms used to collect Biometric Data or PII are kept secure until it is destroyed within a reasonable amount of time or as required under Utah or federal law.
In case of system or electronic device failure, we maintain a backup of all system files on an Apricorn Aegis Fortress L3 256-bit AES XTS encrypted external drive, Apricorn Aegis Fortress L3 256-bit AES XTS encrypted external drive, which is not vulnerable to software or hardware-based key-loggers or software-based brute force attacks. Your data is protected with a programmable “Brute Force Hack Defense Mechanism,” which, if four consecutive incorrect password entries have been attempted, the device will delete its own encryption key and destroy the ability to decrypt its stored data.
NO BIOMETRIC DATA OR PERSONAL IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION (PII) IS STORED ON SERVERS, THIS WEBSITE, OR ANY OTHER ONLINE LOCATION
