Prerequisite: Must have a Utah unarmed private security officer license or have completed an approved online unarmed private security officer course.
Participants: Min 3 Students, Max 15 Students

Location: Lee Kay Public Shooting Range, Salt Lake City, UT

Course Requirements:
Students must bring ALL of the following ten (10) required items to this course. Students who do not have all the items will be sent home.
- Semi-Automatic Handgun
- Duty Holster (at least a level 2 retention - cannot be a restricted holster)
- Three (3) Handgun Magazines
- Magazine Holder (that holds at least two magazines)
- Belt (leather or duty)
- Flashlight (if you have a weapon mounted, you must still have a hand-held light)
- Flashlight Holder
- Ammunition - at least 300 rounds of factory-new ammunition
Absolutely No Reloaded Or Specialty Ammunition - Cleaning Kit
- Eye & Ear Protection
Students must:
- Wear weather-appropriate clothing (collared shirt, pants, jacket, wet/cold-weather gear, etc.)
- Wear closed-toe shoes/boots (no sandals)
- Attend and complete ALL required training
Important Information & Safety Warning
- All firearms must be unloaded and placed in a holster, case, or range bag. The instructor(s) will verify them before students enter the classroom.
- No ammunition is allowed in the classroom. Leave ALL ammunition in your vehicle.
- All students must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability before live fire training.
